We would definitely recommend this holiday, although some aspects of the house may not be suitable for very young children (steep driveway, plunge bath). The house was clean, spacious and well-appointed, the village picturesque and very handy for the many local attractions. Our 11 year old and 8 year old had a great time, enjoying the garden, pony paddock opposite the driveway and the smart TV with DVD player. The large conservatory/utility room was ideal for all our clobber; riding gear, wetsuits, etc and we found there were even some buckets, spades and nets for beach trips available!

This holiday was set in a beautiful location with plenty of activities in the nearby area. The house was furnished very well and many extra little details had been thought of. Beautiful relaxing holiday!

We would definitely recommend it and we plan on going back. The cottage was a good size with loads of room for the children to play. The bedrooms were big, with comfy beds and had a real cot rather than a travel cot. The kitchen was well equipped and the garden was nice although we didn't get to use it due to the weather. The cottage is close to a number of attractions and beaches, also Tesco deliver to it which saved a lot of time. Hubby took his laptop and used the wifi. A great time was had by all.

This cottage was in an excellent location for seeing North Devon, plenty within 30 mins for children to see, it was very clean and spacious, everything had been thought of, I would go again.

The property is set out of the way in a lovely quiet lane. All you can hear is the trickling of a stream and the sound of a few cows. The squirrels that visited the bird table were a delight to watch. It's central to the sights around and a very good pub with restaurant is only 10 minutes slow stroll away.
